For correct cable length measure from steering wheel unit to where cable bolts onto outboard engine at the end of the stainless rod. (not the big nut) Minimum bend radius 8 inch or 200 MM Example A measure from steering (helm) unit to side of boat with minimum of 200 MM radius B Measure downside of boat C Measure from side of boat to where cable bolts onto outboard with minimum of 200 MM radius. Add up in feet and that is your steering cable length.
